Jay is a media tech specialist with over 15 years of experience. His core expertise lies in driving revenue growth, partnerships and customer success for global enterprises.
At Amagi, Jay is responsible for further solidifying the company’s global leadership position across both streaming and broadcast spectrums, especially the rapidly growing Free Ad Supported Streaming TV (FAST) market by creating partnerships with TV networks, content owners, advertisers and video distribution platforms. He is currently based out of Singapore.
Roger Tong has over 30 yearsʼ experience in the communications sector. As CEO of AsiaSat, he has been instrumental to transforming the company’s infrastructure-driven business model into a fully integrated customer-centric one, expanding service offerings through partnerships, and encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation. Under his guidance, AsiaSat has developed a new orbital slot to serve the mobility market, rolled out managed services for the maritime sector and a broadcast-grade video live streaming service. Roger was made a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering in 2020.
Ana is Head of Strategy for BBC Studios Asia, responsible for developing and defining the Asia growth strategy across the global distribution businesses in South East Asia, India, Japan and Korea. She also oversees the expansion and rollout of BBC Player, BBC Studios’ authenticated on demand streaming service.

Ramesh Babu has established a track record in helping customers to build better services and deliver content for seamless, on-time delivery in highly time-sensitive windows for DTT, Satellite distribution, HITS, DTH, Cable, IPTV, and OTT. With his in-depth understanding of evolving technologies for broadcasters, he has helped Benchmark Broadcast Systems expand its services to deliver HD projects and MAM workflows for clients in the Middle East and other new countries in ASEAN and Pacific Islands.
With his rich experience in technology, media and telecommunications, intellectual property, and private equity, Kaushik brings to the table domain knowledge and acute legal acumen. Kaushik advises international and domestic clients on mandates ranging across policy advisory, compliance and regulations, and media and technology-related documentation including licensing, distribution, and revenue sharing agreements. He is closely engaged with the Entrepreneurship and Start-up Practice of the Firm.
Sophia Yuen is the Head of APAC of Video and Audio for Bloomberg Media. She leads the video and audio distribution for Bloomberg’s TV networks, CTV apps, radio and podcasts and manages content partnerships and business development opportunities across the region. Previously, Sophia was the Head of Content and Distribution at ITV overseeing the content strategy and distribution of the international products including linear channel and VOD contents for the global markets.
Soo currently leads Endeavor Streaming’s commercial and business development activities in APAC and ME. Soo has more than 25 years of progressively responsible experience in the corporate, telco and video content management, monetization and delivery industries. Prior to Endeavor Streaming, Soo was the commercial head for SES. He was also the MD of Globecast Asia as well as held positions managing Media & Entertainment sales for Intelsat, Managing Director for APAC at Verestar and sales lead at Loral Cyberstar.
David Couret is Director of Technical Solutions for Distribution at France 24. After 5 years at BT Media & Broadcast, he joined the channel in 2006 in the early stages of the project and set-up the EMEA and then worldwide satellite distribution network. Since 2016, he has worked on the migration of France 24 channels to HD broadcast. Since 2018, David has also worked on the new OTT applications for TV screens and operators STB.
James Taylor is Head of Cloud for the Ideal Systems Group . Originally hailing from the valleys of Herefordshire, James headed East after graduating where his engineering career has included roles as a Solution Architect for Globecast and Director of Technology for Turner APAC. James is now using his broad experience to innovate the Media and Entertainment Industry with Cloud Integration using Ideal Systems much anticipated ALICE Framework.
Kelvin joined iQIYI International in 2020 as VP of International Business Department (IBD) and GM of iQIYI Thailand. Kelvin is responsible for IBD’s strategic growth, business operation and overall commercial and brand development. Gavin currently leads the growth of Magnite Asia, where he is focused on helping media owners and brands win across every channel and format. Gavin has over 19 years’ global experience in the digital advertising space, having worked in leadership roles at tech and publishing companies, including Microsoft, Turner Broadcasting and LinkedIn, with the last ten years based in Asia building businesses. MPA is the leading independent provider of research, advisory and consulting services across the media, entertainment, sports, telecommunications and technology industries in Asia Pacific. Vivek leads teams to offer clients corporate strategy, market research, asset appraisal and M&A-related due diligence. Vikram Tanna is a passionate advocate for the use of AI and blockchain technology to transform the entertainment industry. He is currently the CEO of Mzaalo (Xfinite), a blockchain-powered entertainment ecosystem. Vikram has launched and built mass adoption for Mzaalo, the world’s first gamified video streaming dApp that rewards users for their time and attention. Prior to joining NBTC, Dr. Ramasoota was vice president of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. As professor of Communication at the university, she researched and taught in media policy and regulation and social implications of information and communication technologies (ICTs) with a special focus on Thailand and ASEAN.
At the NBTC, she aims to promote a sustainable communication ecosystem that enhances content quality as well as social role of the media, while boosting innovation and economic viability of the industry.
Park oversees the management and operations of Paramount’s business in Asia (Greater China, Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia), including digital media, programme sales, consumer products, recreation and ancillary IP licensing and co- production. She also spearheads the company’s streaming business in the region, focusing on accelerating the roll-out of streaming products such as Paramount+ and Pluto TV, and driving the development of original content.
Virat Patel is the Managing Director of Pioneer Consulting Asia, a management consultancy specialising in telecoms, media and digital in Asia. He is based in Singapore. He has extensive experience in business strategy, business planning, and market entry. He has developed pay TV, broadband and video strategies for platforms and content providers. His team has undertaken primary research on changing viewing habits in 10 markets in Asia. He is also an executive coach and mentor to executives in media and telecoms.

In her current role, Emily is responsible for all marketing and communications across the region – ensuring PubMatic has a strong industry voice. She oversees events, PR, content marketing and sales enablement – supporting the commercial teams in meeting their business goals. She specialises in distilling complex information and technical solutions into client friendly narratives.

Luke Smith has led the Programmatic arm of the Seven Network Digital Sales team since inception in 2017. With BVOD the fastest growing medium in Australia – Programmatic is the predominant means for advertisers to reach those audiences – with 75% of all impressions traded through a DSP. After many years honing their programmatic approach, it culminated at Seven’s coverage of the Tokyo Olympics, which was Australia’s biggest ever digital streaming event. The result being a gold medal performance for Audiences, Advertisers and Seven.
Prior to joining Studio Dragon, Park was co-head of Warner Bros. Korea’s Local TV Production Division, where he led content strategy, development and production efforts. He was also co-founder and vice president of US based OTT platform DramaFever, where he oversaw content strategy and content acquisitions. Hyun has over 20 years of media, corporate development and M&A experience globally. At Studio Dragon, CJENM’s scripted television subsidiary, he spearheads the company’s international expansion through original productions and co-productions with major studios and OTT platforms.
Doug Choy is GM of Inventory Development at The Trade Desk, a global demand-side platform in the $5B programmatic advertising industry. In his role, Doug is responsible for building strategic partnerships with leading media companies and supply-side platforms in China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

Sutanto Hartono currently serves as the Managing Director of PT. Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek), Tbk., the CEO of Surya Citra Media (SCM), Tbk., the CEO of Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV), and the CEO of Vidio.

Jeeyoung Lee is SVP of Content Strategy for Asia Pacific and General Manager of Japan and South Korea at Discovery, Inc. Based in Seoul, Lee leads Content Strategy for Asia Pacific and also oversees Discovery’s businesses in South Korea and Japan as the global media company builds further scale and differentiation across the region. John’s TV career began at TVB in Hong Kong and included a 13-year stint with ESPN STAR Sports.
